THIS is the face of a man who has been jailed after vandalising a car and being found in possession of a kitchen knife in a pub.

Geoff Hogg, 36, of Homer Road, Knowsley Village, was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court for the crimes he committed in St Helens last September.

Hogg inflicted criminal damage to a motor vehicle on Millbrook Lane, in Eccleston.

He later attended the Eagle and Child pub in Rainford while he was in possession of a kitchen knife.

Hogg pleaded guilty to charges of criminal damage and possession of a bladed article at Liverpool Crown Court.

He was sentenced to 10 months in prison and a further 20 weeks to run consecutively.

Hogg was also issued with a five-year restraining order.
