AMENDED plans for apartments the site of the former Earlestown Labour Club have been submitted.
A fresh planning application has been drawn up seeking to build a three-storey residential building consisting of 17 apartments at the land site on Legh Street.
The site has been unused since Earlestown Labour Club was bulldozed.
A previous application to create 12 apartments and five ground floor retail units had received permission in November 2016.
The amended plans have replaced the initially proposed commercial units with five apartments, described as "a relatively minor variation".
The change has been made after the site "failed to achieve the expected interest in the ground floor retail units".
The application states apartments will offer a range of accommodation size from one to three beds.
Plans are on consultation until Monday, February 26.
