POUNDWORLD will be opening in part of the former Woolworths site in the Hardshaw Centre this Thursday – and the first 100 customers through the door will receive a goody bag.
The store temporarily closed its doors yesterday, Sunday, February 11 and will re-open for business in their new store, next to Marks and Spencer, on Thursday, February 15.
A Poundworld spokesman said: “ We’re committed to offering our shoppers amazing value and some of the best deals on the high street on top branded products. As well as all of our great and popular £1 lines, the store will also offer a carefully selected range of multi-price lines to give people even more choice and more savings.
“We can’t wait to welcome people through the doors and will be offering a free goody bag to our first 100 customers."
Gary Mitchell, centre manager, added: “It’s fantastic to see that a well-known national retailer, who has traded in the centre for the last 13 years, is doing so well here that they need to move to bigger premises. It’s also great news for our customers too.”
