Vent heater fire breaks out at retail unit
A FIRE broke out involving a vent heater at a retail premises in the early hours of Monday morning.
Firefighters were called to a retail unit on Bickerstaffe Street, St Helens shortly after 1.30am.
Two fire engines attended and crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
No-one was injured in the incident.
A vent heater was damaged by fire and the retail unit sustained heat damage.
Firefighters remained at the incident for around one hour and ten minutes.
