THESE are the first pictures of a public art installation on the banks of the Sankey Canal which celebrates St Helens' industrial heritage.
Where Things Are Different, a project dreamt up by artist Stephen King, features light boxes and images near the World of Glass museum.
It is part of the St Helens 150th anniversary celebrations.
He worked closely with people who were employed in mining or other industries across St Helens.
They shared experiences of being displaced workforces.
Stephen aims to highlight the stories that could be forgotten about this town's industrial past by sharing social experience, memories, stories and folklore held by the St Helens community.
