Man arrested after Sainsbury's staff detain alleged thief
A 35-YEAR-OLD man was arrested last night on suspicion of stealing from a shop.
At around 8pm on Monday, January 15, three police cars were called to the Sainsbury's supermarket on Millfields, Eccleston.
Staff had detained a man, who had been accused of stealing from the shop earlier that day.
A man was arrested on suspicion of theft and has been remanded in custody pending further investigation.
