THE funeral of Adam Ellison, who was stabbed to death in Prescot, is to be held a week on Friday (January 26).
Adam was walking along a pedestrianised area of Market Place in the early hours of Saturday, November 4 when there was an argument with a group of people on a motorbike.
The 29-year-old, from Prescot, was stabbed in the neck with an unknown weapon.
His funeral will be held at 11.30am at Prescot Parish Church and will be followed by a service at St Helens Crematorium at 1.30pm.
A wake will be held later at Prescot Guild Hall.
Adam's family have said that anyone who would like to attend is welcome.
There will be family flowers only at the funeral – however Adam’s family and partner request any donations go to Dogs Trust or Cancer Research UK in his memory.
These can be passed on to the family or via the funeral directors, Debbie Bennett in Prescot.
