A PLANNING application has been submitted seeking to build 50 homes on the site of a former car dealers off Knowsley Road in Eccleston.
Proposals are for a mixture of semi-detached and terraced houses, new blocks and apartments on the site of the former Caledonia Peugeot garage.
Plans state the proposed scheme is for 50 new dwellings comprising a mix of semi-detached and terraced
two and three-bedroom houses to the rear portion of the site, along with two new blocks of one and two-bedroom apartments to the front to match those previously built as part of an original planning application.
Proposals add: "The development of this site will bring affordable housing to the St Helens area creating a more inclusive and sustainable community to this vacant site.
"The scheme will provide a high quality development through the materials used complementing the existing properties on site, therefore creating a completed residential area on Liberty Place".
Plans are on consultation until Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
