SINGING starlet Kiera Weathers wants to thank her fans after her latest single Talk to Me was listened to and viewed more than 67,000 times in less than a week.

It is the second single released by the 20-year-old songstress from Clock Face, who rose to fame on The X Factor in 2015.

The catchy track, co-written by Kiera and Manchester group 1990s, is inspired by relationships and communication over the summer.

It has received positive reviews, with the YouTube video, filmed at tourist village Portmeirion in North Wales, viewed by more than 3,500 people.

Kiera, whose debut single, a modern cover of Des’ree’s 1994 classic You Gotta Be, was released earlier this year, said: “The response I have had from the public is absolutely mental.

“I didn’t expect this to happen at all – I have the best fans.

“I have worked really hard to get the emotion across and think everyone can relate to this track as it talks about relationships, not just with your partner but with anyone.

“The people in St Helens have been so supportive.

“We may not have a lot in this town, and people say there are nicer towns out there, but we have the best people in this town, which can be seen by how we support each other through the good and bad.

“I can’t thank everyone enough – their support always astounds me.”
