A 56-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a man who died after an assault in the town centre.
A 60-year-old man, from Liverpool, died on Tuesday, three days after apparently suffering a single punch outside the A to B taxi rank on Baldwin Street.
The assault happened between the A to B taxi rank and the Pizza Chef takeaway restaurant at around 12.30am on Saturday (December 2).
Terry Maguire, of Woolton Road, Woolton, Liverpool has been bailed to appear before Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
