Emergency crews at Fingerpost
A GIRL was taken to hospital after being knocked down by a car when she stepped into the road.
Emergency services were called to Traverse Street, Fingerpost at 5.10pm on Saturday after the incident near to Holy Trinity Church.
The girl suffered suspected head and ankle injuries, though these were not believed to be serious, said a police spokeswoman.
