POLICE have seized cannabis and cultivation equipment after forcing their way into a property.

Officers discovered the cannabis farm after executing a warrant at an address on Leach Lane, Sutton Leach on Monday (November 13).

Police officers forced entry into the premises and discovered a cannabis cultivation set-up and a quantity of the drug.

All of the drugs have been seized and the equipment has been dismantled to be destroyed.

Police say that no arrests have yet been made in connection with the discovery, adding that the investigation is ongoing.

It is the second cannabis farm police in St Helens have discovered in recent days, after officers executed a warrant on Waterland Lane in Parr on Friday (November 10).
