POLICE made an arrest after a man allegedly entered Newton-le-Willows police station with a knife.
Officers detained the man without incident at the station on Market Street, Earlestown on Tuesday (October 24).
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a pointed or bladed article in a public place.
He was conveyed into custody and has since been released pending a charging decision, police say.
