A WOMAN has been treated for shock after a crash involving four cars which caused disruptions in Haydock.
The vehicles were involved in the collision on Liverpool Road near traffic lights at Pewfall.
The collision took place shortly after 2pm.
Police say a red Peugeot 206 was among the cars involved, with a woman in the back vehicle treated at the scene for shock.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "There was a four-vehicle RTC at 2.01pm. It was a 'shunt' crash, one vehicle has gone into the back of the other.
"A woman in the back car approximately in her 50s was in shock.
"There were no physical injuries. Everyone was given a breath test as standard procedure. No-one tested positive for drink driving."
