A NEW takeaway in the town centre has sparked a pizza war.
A Pizza Hut premises has opened on the corner of Ormskirk Street and King Street.
The opening has led to a 'battle of the pizzas' with sandwich boards being seen in town over the past few days around the nearby roundabout, advertising pizza from the new outlet and Domino's on Duke Street.
