RAINHILL High has submitted plans to create a new two-storey teaching block at the school.
Proposals submitted by head teacher John Pout seek to demolish an existing single storey extension on sixth-form block and create the new block.
Plans state the new building would provide seven new classrooms, an activity studio and a student reception.
Plans are on consultation until Wednesday, October 11.
