Motorists warned of overnight bridge works
ONE of the main routes into town will be closed through the night for the next week.
Haresfinch Road at the junction with College Street will shut from 8pm to 4am this evening (Monday, September 18) as Network Rail carries out structure and bridge repair works.
Weeds and other vegetation will also be cut back. St Helens Council says sound proofing will be in place.
The pattern, designed to allow motorists to use the road during the day, will be in place until, Sunday September 24 – when road closures will cease.
