A 29-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the leg at the Reminisce festival.

Police have confirmed that they received a report at around 10.05pm on Saturday claiming a man had been stabbed in the left leg while at the Sherdley Park event.

The man had been attending the one-day dance festival and was treated at the first aid tent at the event before being taken to hospital.

His injuries are described as minor and he has been discharged from hospital.

Yesterday police thanked festival goers for their good behaviour after the event passed with three arrests, which related to alleged drugs and alcohol offences.

However, they released details of the stabbing after Star readers questioned why the incident had not been raised.
