BOTH St Helens MPs voted against the EU Withdrawal Bill which was approved in the House of Commons.
The Bill, which will end the supremacy of EU law in the UK, was backed by 326 votes to 290 by MPs in the early hours of this morning.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn had ordered his party's MPs to oppose the Bill, but seven Labour MPs defied the three-line whip.
St Helens North MP Conor McGinn and St Helens South and Whiston MP Marie Rimmer voted against the Bill.
The EU Withdrawal now moves onto its next parliamentary stage.
