POLICE have uncovered quantities of cannabis from two addresses as a result of community intelligence.
St Helens Local Policing Team executed two warrants, one on Pollitt Crescent, Clock Face at around 10am yesterday, Monday, August 21 where cannabis was recovered.
A 51-year-old man was cautioned for possession and control of drugs and has been warned to voluntarily attend a police station later in the week.
Another address on Myrtle Avenue in Haydock area was also searched and a small quantity of cannabis was recovered.
A police spokesman said: “We would like pass on our thanks for your continued support in our fight against drugs.
“Please if you have any information regarding suspicious activity around drugs please let us know. We might not act straight away but we are always listening.
“You never know you might see our big Yellow Vans in a road near you because of what you have told us.”
