Officers were called to Gartons Lane
TWO children under five were taken home by police after a motorist reported nearly hitting them in the middle of the road.
Officers were called to Gartons Lane in Clock Face at around 5pm on Thursday, August 17 and escorted an unsupervised three-year-old girl and four-year-old boy home.
Advice was given to their families explaining the seriousness of the incident, police confirmed.
Partner agencies have been informed of the circumstances as per normal procedures.
