WITH the summer holidays in full swing, so are the kids clubs in Church Square shopping centre.

Running for the six weeks of the school holidays, young visitors have already enjoyed a variety of exciting activities including fun at the beach and sand art. Other themed workshops planned include ‘fun at the fair’, ‘little explorers’, ‘superhero’ and ‘back to school’.

“Our Shopper Whopper kids club is now in its sixth year and is has never been so popular. We have already welcomed more than 200 young visitors to the club this summer,” said Steve Brogan, Church Square centre manager. “We want to offer our local community a fun and stimulating setting that’s also a safe place for children to spend their school holidays.

“The variety of activities we offer, provides our young visitors the opportunity to let their imaginations run away with them, get creative with their hands as well as meeting other children along the way.”

Held at St Mary’s Arcade, the Shopper Whopper kids club will be open every Tuesday throughout the school holidays, until August 29, with workshops running from 11am until 3pm.

Admission is free and parental permission is required for children attending.
