A cow was on the Rainford by-pass in the early hours
POLICE were called after reports a cow was roaming along a road in the early hours.
A police spokesman said: "A cow was reported in road on Rainford Bypass at 12.40am on Monday, August 14. Patrols attended to ensure this caused no accidents and a farmer secured the cow to be collected at a later date."
