Police were called to the address on Monday
THE body of a man has been recovered from a flat, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to an address on Carnegie Crescent, Sutton at 1.30pm on Monday.
Onlookers report that police had to break the door down and that forensic teams were seen on the site last night.
A police spokesman said: "We have been at the scene with forensic teams after attending on Monday at 1.30pm.
"The body of a man in his 60s was found. The death is not suspicious and the matter has been referred to the coroner."
