POLICE arrested a man following a foot pursuit after a suspected stolen scrambler bike stalled on the East Lancs.
Officers had received a report at around 3.30pm yesterday afternoon of men riding along the East Lancs on scrambler bikes and began a pursuit.
After a bike stalled, a foor chase followed and police arrested a 21-year-old man from West Derby, Liverpool on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving.
A suspected stolen Honda scrambler bike was seized by officers.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We had the incident reported to us at Gilmoss Lane, Liverpool and they made off across the East Lancs.
"One man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving and has been released under investigation."
