FIRE crews tackled a blaze which broke out in a timber shed at a property in Haydock yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the property on Mercer Road, Haydock at around 12.45pm on Thursday, July 13.
Two fire engines attended the incident and crews used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.
The timber shed was partially damaged by the fire. No-one was injured during the incident.
The firefighters also carried out a Home Fire Safety Check and fitted two new smoke alarms at the property.
