Police called after tent set on fire near to Hotties canal
POLICE were called after a tent was set on fire near to the Hotties canal last night.
Officers were seen at Phoenix Brow at around 11.20pm last night.
Two fire engines also attended the incident as crews spent 30 minutes tackling the blaze.
No-one was injured by the fire but the tent and its contents were severely damaged.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "A tent had been set on fire. It is being treated as criminal damage by fire."
