CHARITY fundraisers are dancing to the tune of more than £800 amassed through their efforts at a marathon dance mash-up at Rainhill Village Hall.
The event, organised by Ellen Murray of Heatone Fitness, was held to help raise funds for Willowbrook Hospice in Prescot.
Over the course of three hours, over 80 people shook their thing to a variety of dance programmes including Zumba, Bokwa, Konga, Glowfit and Dance Through the Decades.
Diane Humphreys, senior fundraiser at Willowbrook, who took part in the event, said: “I absolutely loved it. It was high energy, great fun and a fabulous way to support the hospice.
"On behalf of Willowbrook I’d like to thank Ellen, all her team and everyone who took part in the event. Every penny raised will go towards helping care and support our patients and their families.”
