A TAXI driver has described how she saw “two men full of blood” after an incident in Asda supermarket car park.
Forensic teams were seen examining part of the Kirkland Street car park, this morning, where traces of blood were on the ground.
A police cordon was in place until shortly after 10.30am, where an officer was standing guard while forensic investigators were at the scene.
A number of Star readers have suggested a man was wounded in the early hours.
One reader, Leanne Williams, a taxi driver, who was on duty at the time of the incident, said: “I saw two men full of blood. One was arrested once the police came and there was a pool of blood all over the floor.”
Reports saying a man was wounded remain unconfirmed at this stage and police have so far released no details of their investigation despite several requests from the Star.
Police were at the scene from the early hours of Saturday ahead of the store opening.
