PLANS to convert a gym and sports club for industrial use have been approved by St Helens Council.
Proposals were submitted in April seeking to change the use of the building at 66 Sutton Road. The application describes the premises as currently vacant "following vandal damage".
Planners gave the plans the nod on June 20.
