THERE will be parachute jumping and assault courses at Haydock Park as the armed forces are celebrated at this weekend’s race meeting.
The two-day meeting taking place this Friday and Saturday features the Armstrong Group Temple Stakes Day.
And off the track on Saturday, there will be support for the local Armed Forces.
The day will raise vital funds for ABF The Soldier’s Charity, the national charity of the British Army - with lots of events taking place.
These will include parachute jumping, army assault courses, military brass bands and lots of other fun military themed activities.
And to top things off BBC Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox will be performing a ‘Party in the Paddock’ after the racing.
The event is one of Haydock’s TENsational Saturday series events which follows the success of 2016.
Other upcoming events will feature Anton Powers, Johnny Vaughan and Jo Whiley.
