HOUSEHOLDS in the Carr Mill and Laffak areas are experiencing water supply problems following a burst pipe.
A water pipe in a field near Rydal Grove, Moss Bank burst causing no water or low water pressure in households around the St Helens areas.
United Utilities have received around 100 phone calls from affected residents.
A United Utilities spokesman said: "We will be starting repairs as soon as possible and in the meantime we are looking at using our water-on-wheels tankers and other parts of our water network to bypass the problem and restore supplies quicker."
