- Aidan McAteer and Dean Brennan are due to be sentenced after pleading guilty to charges relating to the death of four-year-old Violet-Grace Youens.
- McAteer, 23, from Prescot, admitted causing death by dangerous driving on April 26
- He also pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
- Brennan, 27, also from Prescot, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicle taking and assisting an offender by obtaining a passport for McAteer.
- Violet-Grace, from Eccleston, died on Saturday, March 25, after being knocked down by a car the day before on Prescot Road.
- Her grandmother Angela French was seriously injured in the collision.
- Sentencing is due to begin at 10.30am
