FINAL year creative arts students from University Centre St Helens will be displaying their work at The World of Glass next month.

The annual arts exhibition, named Vortex, will showcase the work of those set to graduate this year.

The free exhibition is open from Saturday, May 6 to Friday, June 23.

Work on display will include paintings, illustrations, photographs and graphic design portfolios.

Martyn Wigfield, head of higher education at University Centre St Helens, said: “We are delighted this year to once again be exhibiting the work at The World of Glass.

“The Vortex show is the culmination of our undergraduates’ work, research and experiences on our creative arts degree courses.

“We look forward to welcoming members of the public to attend and see some of the fantastic student work on display.”

The exhibition takes place in Gallery One at The World of Glass.

n There are a limited number of places still available to join University Centre St Helens this September on its Creative Arts degree courses.

Anybody interested in attending can visit the next open day on Monday, June 19, from 5 to 7pm.

This will provide people with an opportunity to visit, learn about the courses on offer and put their questions to staff and students.
