A WOMAN and a child have been involved in a car collision between a bin wagon and a car that has caused backed up traffic in the town centre.
A council bin wagon and a car, carrying a woman and a child, collided on Parr Street near Topps Tiles, at around 12.30pm today (Wednesday). Police and ambulance attended the scene.
Police have stated that neither the woman or child are seriously injured from the collision.
Pictures sent to the Star show one lane traffic coming onto the nearby roundabout due to the incident.
