A 38-YEAR-OLD woman who was arrested on suspicion of supplying cocaine and heroin after police executed a warrant at the YMCA on North Road has been released pending further enquiries.
The woman was arrested on Wednesday, April 12 following the execution of the warrant at around 9am.
Following a search of the property, officers recovered a number of bags of what is thought to be heroin and cocaine which have been taken away for examination. Cash and mobile phones were also seized.
The woman, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of supply of Class A drugs and taken to a police station for questioning.
She has since been released pending a disposal decision.
A police spokesman added: “Officers are continuing to urge anyone with information about drugs activity in their area to get in contact.
“Officers will listen to all information received and action can be taken to remove the blight of drugs from our communities.
“Anyone with any information about drugs activity in their area is asked to contact 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
