THE tragic death of Violet-Grace has sparked immense shock and support from communities across the borough, with the town paying tribute and uniting in mourning.

A floral shine – overflowing with teddies and heartfelt messages - lines Prescot Road, where the hit-and-run that claimed the four-year-old’s life took place.

The Steve Prescott Bridge was lit up with a violet light last night, Monday, with people lighting candles in memory of the brave little girl, whose pancreas and kidneys were donated.
