WE know St Helens has some of the best mums in the world but after an appeal over Facebook to get our readers to send in their Mother’s Day messages, we have proof!

Flick through our picture gallery to see the lucky mums and at the comments their children left for them.

And most importantly Happy Mother’s Day!

“One year later she suffered a brain tumour and went through a massive operation at Walton Neuro Hospital to have it removed and came through it all with so much vigour, courage and strength.
