MOTOWN legends The Jacksons are the latest artist announced at Haydock Park Racecourse for their 2017 summer season, joining previously announced Olly Murs.

The Jacksons, originally formed as The Jackson 5, will be visiting Haydock Park as they celebrate an incredible 50 hit-making years. Known for hits including 'ABC', 'The Love You Save', 'I Want You Back' and 'I'll Be There'.

The group, who sold more than 200 million records during their time with the Motown label, will perform on July 7.

Building a reputation for their combination of music and brilliant choreography, they went on to score 17 Top 40 singles on the Hot 100 - together with 22 UK Top 40 singles - including 'Never Can Say Goodbye', 'Show You The Way To Go' and 'Dancing Machine'.

Tito Jackson said: "We had the privilege of performing for Her Majesty The Queen when we first came to the UK in 1972 and we're always excited to return.

"The British audiences love their music and we can't wait to share ours with them when we bring our show to Haydock Park Racecourse this summer!"

Alongside the open-air headlining performance, the action kicks off earlier in the day with a six race card - giving fans the chance to enjoy the drama and spectacle of the racing.

Jason Fildes, Haydock Park general manager, said: "We're thrilled to announce another fantastic act for our summer of music at Haydock Park. With Olly Murs already selling well we're delighted that the legendary Jacksons are performing with so many of their iconic hits such as ABC, Can you Feel It, I Want You Back and I'll Be There. We just can't wait for the summer to start at Haydock!"

Olly Murs will play on August 11.
