POLICE are re-appealing for help to trace a 46-year-old man from the Rainford area.
Officers are seeking Phillip Maddox after an assault that took place in St Helens on Saturday, January 16, 2016.
He is believed to have information that can assist the investigation.
Efforts have been made to find Maddox, but to no avail, say Merseyside Police.
He is described as white, 6ft tall, with green eyes, shaved black hair and a heavy build.
As well as links to Rainford and St Helens, Maddox is believed to have been in Northern Ireland recently.
Anyone who has seen Maddox, or who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call dedicated officers on 0151 777 6566 on the 101 number.
Those with information can also contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
