Journey cancellations after woman killed by a train at Wigan North Western
TRAINS from St Helens heading to Wigan have been cancelled this afternoon after a woman was killed after being struck by a train.
All lines are blocked after the woman was hit between Wigan North Western and Warrington Bank Quays this afternoon at around 3.30pm.
All lines are blocked and disruption is expected to journeys until around 5.30pm.
Police and fire crews attended the scene after the incident.
