THIS week’s trip down memory lane takes us back more than 50 years ago.
The image features a ramble to Billinge Lump by St Peters Church, Parr, and St Phillips Sunday school.
The picture, submitted by Joyce Kilmurray (nee Burrows), shows the then Vicar of St Peters, Reverend Thorne on the front row, slightly to right of centre.
Joyce’s late brother John Burrows is also pictured back, towards the centre.
Joyce, of Laffak, said: “This will bring back many memories for the older generation of Parr.”
