POLICE have issued an appeal to trace a young man and woman who were last seen travelling on a train from St Helens to Blackpool.
Extensive enquiries have been ongoing to locate Jack Stewart, 19, and Katy O’Brien, 18, who were last seen travelling on the train on Sunday, February 12 at 9.30am.
Jack is described as white, of slim build, with short straight dark brown hair, blue eyes and pale complexion.
He was wearing a black coat, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers when he was last seen.
Meanwhile Katy is described as white, of medium build with long black curly hair, blue eyes and fair complexion.
She was wearing a grey jumper with a glittery animal print on the front, and a black and grey McKenzie coat with fur around the hood when she was last seen.
Katy and Jack are believed to be together and are known to frequent St Helens, Bootle and Kirkby as well as the Blackpool and London areas.
Police officers are making extensive efforts to find Katy and Jack and return them home safely and would urge them, anyone who knows their whereabouts, or who has seen people resembling them, to call police on the 101 number.
