Man faces attempted murder charge
A MAN has been charged with attempted murder following the stabbing of a 55-year-old woman in a Whiston park last year.
The incident happened in Stadt Moers Park on Saturday, June 11, 2016.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to serious injuries.
Jamie Cardwell, 20, of Paignton Close, Huyton will appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday, March 9.
