SAY hello to the latest pet in need of a new home.

Staff at Dogs Trust Merseyside say Bosco was a 'shy little lurcher' when he first arrived at the centre and was not really enjoying his time in kennels.

A spokesman added: "A few weeks on and he seems to be really settling and has come out of his shell so much.

"He's now very affectionate and playful and loves to go out for walks.

"He has a lovely bond with his carers and they're slowly introducing him to new friends and places, and he's doing very well."

Bosco needs a quiet home with a family that won't rush him in to new things but let him go at his own pace to settle in.

He does get along with dogs but staff say he is picky about his canine pals, preferring the girls.

Bosco can live with children aged 13 and above, as he is still a little shy.

A spokesman added: "He has a real cheeky streak when the mood takes him and he’s going to be a wonderful companion for someone.”
