POLICE have urged people to be "extra vigilant" following a spate of burglaries in the area.
A number of burglaries have been reported in Windle to police who fired a warning to alert residnets via social media.
Please be extra vigilant in the Windle area. Report any suspicious circumstances as there have been a number of burglaries in the area

This follows a warning police had issued last week over reports of burglaries across St Helens.
