POLICE have cleared two lanes on the East Lancs following a collision involving a van and two cars.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident near traffic lights close to the Carr Mill pub at around 4pm today.
A van and two cars, a Peugeot and a BMW were involved in the collision.
Traffic was slowed in the area as police worked to clear the vehicles from the scene.
A police spokesman said: "A van has hit a vehicle from behind and then hit another."
