INDIE rockers Stillia and singer Lizzie Jones will be among the line-up of performers at this year's Solar King Commercial Pride of St Helens Awards.

St Helens group Stillia, who have recently signed a new recording deal with B33, will perform at the end of the evening as they did at the first Pride Awards in 2012.

Meanwhile, RedVee Voices will entertain the VIP guests and also sing the well-versed Steve Prescott and Langtree Park just after dinner.

And they will be joined by the inspirational Lizzie Jones, widow of former rugby league player Danny, who has recently won ITV's Lorraine Woman of the Year.

Martin Blondel, from co-organisers the Steve Prescott Foundation, said: "We are elated to have such a diverse and talented entertainment for the evening.

"Red Vee Voices will not only bring back great memories but also humour with their St Helens-themed lyrics.

"Lizzie Jones has performed at the Sports Personality of the Year Awards and in front of 80,000 rugby league fans at Wembley.

"Stillia are going to the top, they performed at the first Pride awards and have developed into a class band. We are certain they are going to make the big time in the imminent future."
