BEAUTY Beth Cammack is looking to wow the judges as she takes part in an international show.

Beth, 20, has been modelling for five years and has already competed in a number of different pageants.

Beth, from Hard Lane, first got into modelling while on a family holiday to Egypt when an onsite photographer asked her parents if she could take some photos and advised her to set up a Facebook profile.

Now the St Helens model is hoping for international success representing the UK in Italy at the Miss Progress International Beauty Pageant.

The final will take place on Friday, October 23 with Beth having already travelled to the country for the build-up to the final.

"This is a amazing opportunity for me and I am having the time of my life in this amazing country," said Beth from Italy.

"I only had three weeks to prepare after been asked if I would like to represent the UK. This is not my first pageant so I did have a idea of what to expect and I have competed internationally before and done very well.

"From the minute I arrived In Puglia it's been non-stop with activities; we have been on a mini cruise, visited the Italian ruins, sampled the amazing homemade Martinucci ice cream, been on bike rides, had wine tasting and the best pizza in the world."

She added: "No matter what the outcome I can honestly say this has been one of the best experiences of my life and I feel very lucky to be representing the UK."

The pageant will be broadcast live on missprogressinternational.com.
