FIRE crews were called after a blaze in a conservatory broke out at a home in Newton-le-Willows.
Firefighters were called to the fire at a house on Banastre Drive just before 11am on Saturday, September 24.
Two fire engines attended the scene and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
They then ventilated the area and carried out a Home Fire Safety check.
The fire service says no-one was injured by the incident.
An oil-filled electric radiator was severely damaged by fire and the conservatory sustained light smoke damage.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
